In conjunction with our Argentinian tour operator 'Sundance Spirit'. This fully hosted tour from Auckland will enable you to discover this fabulous country, enjoy golf at the best golf courses, view the Iguaza Falls – renowned as the most dramatic falls in the world as well as visiting Buenos Aires & Cordoba cities.
Day 1:
Depart Auckland or Sydney for the direct flight to Buenos Aires and arrive at Ezeiza International airport. Meet with your English speaking member of Sundance Spirit staff and transfer in private vehicle to your accommodation in the central city. Check in at the American Park Hotel for two nights accommodation including breakfast each morning.
In the evening you will enjoy a welcome dinner and a pre-dinner wine tasting held at a wonderful local ‘parilla’ restaurant, located in the trendy Puerto Madero area of the city.
Day 2:
Morning half day historical Buenos Aires city sightseeing excursion with a professional English speaking local guide followed by midday transfer to the Pilar Golf Club for your first round of golf with an electric golf cart per twosome and caddy. Following the round return to your city hotel
During the afternoon the non-golfers will head out with an English speaking local professional guide, to the Rio de La Plata / Rio Paraña confluence and the picturesque, historical river port market township of Tigre. They will have time to wander the markets and to take a River Cruise in and amongst the myriad of river islands. .
Day 3:
After breakfast check out of the Amerian Park Hotel and transfer in a private vehicle with an English speaking coordinator to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery domestic airport and check-in for the 1hr.45min flight to Iguazu Falls located on the Argentina, Brazil International border. On arrival at Iguazu Falls the group will be met and transferred in a private vehicle with an English speaking coordinator to the 4 star Hotel Cataratas. Check-in at Hotel Cataratas for a two night stay including breakfast on each morning. The afternoon is free for group members to explore the river township of Puerto Iguazu
Day 4:
Today after breakfast transfer by private vehicle with an English speaking coordinator to the Iguazu National Park and the Visitor Centre. A professional Iguazu Park´s Board guide will be with you throughout the entire days of adventure activities.
The Green Passport of adventures includes-the 2.3 km of upper and 1.5km of lower walking trails; 2 different and exhilarating boating excursions; a jungle 4x4 interpretive excursion and the people mover train to the access point for adventures in and around the largest and most expansive waterfalls in the world, return to Hotel Cataratas for a relaxed evening at leisure.
Day 5:
After breakfast the group transfers to Iguazu airport and fly via Buenos Aires to Cordoba city. On arrival a private vehicle transfer will convey the group to the Amerian Park Hotel Cordoba for two nights accommodation including breakfast. Late afternoon and evening at leisure.
Day 6:
This morning after breakfast the golfers will transfer to the private Cordoba Golf Club for a round of golf with carts and caddies. At the conclusion of the round, a private transfer will return the group to their hotel accommodation.
Non-golfers have the option to take a city highlights excursion of Cordoba City Tour in a private vehicle with English speaking guide. The evening is free for you to enjoy Cordoba. Cordoba offers a myriad of wonderful local cuisine restaurants – a strong recommendation is ‘Alcorta’ which is superb-reservations are essential.
Day 7:
After breakfast transfer to Cordoba airport and fly via Buenos Aires to San Carlos de Bariloche in the central southern Andes cordillera. On arrival to San Carlos de Bariloche a private vehicle transfer, with an English speaking coordinator to Arelauquen Lodge. Check in at Arelauquen Lodge for a three night stay with breakfast each morning included in your accommodation
Day 8:
This morning after breakfast transfer with your English speaking coordinator to the famed Llao Llao Championship Golf Course for your third round of golf. A pull cart is provided as Llao Llao has only a very few electric carts which are given to physically handicapped players on a preference basis.
Non-Golfers will accompany golfers to Llao Llao and while the golfers play, can use the facilities (spa) relaxing around the Llao Llao Resort Hotel.
Following the round at Llao Llao, accompanied by a local English speaking guide the group will embark at the lakeside wharf on the CauCau catamaran for a lake cruise on Lago Nahuel Haupi to the enchanted Parque Nacional Los Arrayanes - a forest of rare and exotic Arrayanes trees with a 2.3km wooden walkway from which to view and enjoy the tranquility. At the completion of the afternoon cruise a return private transfer will convey the group back to Arelauquen Lodge
Day 9:
This morning after breakfast you will take on the challenge of the undulating and lengthy Arelauquen Golf Club championship course-again with carts and caddies.
Today Non-Golfers will undertake a full day excursion, by road, south of Arelauquen some 170km to the central Andean township of El Bolson and Lago Puelo, a gloriously scenic days excursion, amongst towering Andean afforested mountain tops and around a series of lakes, stopping at Lago Peulo on the return journey.
There are a number of delightful local restaurants dotted around the lake front in San Carlos de Bariloche and two micro-breweries creating plenty of options for eating out and enjoying a relaxed evening at leisure in a wonderful part of the country. .
Day 10:
There is time for another round of golf at Arelauquen (at additional own cost) before the flight from San Carlos de Bariloche to Buenos Aires departing mid-afternoon. Those who do not wish to play golf are able to go into San Carlos de Bariloche township for some shopping or to sample the array of famed chocolate house products, fresh from the chefs platter as they are cooled.
Mid-afternoon private transfer from Arelauquen Lodge to San Carlos de Bariloche airport for the nonstop flight to Buenos Aires. On arrival transfer to the Amerian Park Hotel and check in a two night stay including breakfast.
Day 11:
Morning transfer to the famed and much vaunted Olivos Golf Club to be challenged by one of the top three golf course layouts in the country with carts and caddies. Following the round return to the Amerian Park hotel
For Non-Golfers - Departing after breakfast today is dedicated to the rural lifestyle of the famed gauchos of the Pampas and the group will be taken some 128km into the countryside to the famous gaucho township of San Antonio del Areco first to the local museum which gives a fascinating insight into the rural lifestyles from times past, then to Estancia La Cinacina, a working cattle ranch where awaits a traditional Fiesta Gaucha. Traditional music, song, folkloric dance and superb hospitality are precursors of a huge luncheon served ´asado ´style - where all manner of meat cuts of beef, pork and poultry are cooked over searing hot flameless coals, complemented by
salads, baked potato and vegetables and dessert platters. Guests can taste traditional ´mate´ - a herbal tea which is a delicacy widely touted throughout the country and watch the amazing horsemanship skills performed by the gauchos of the estancia.
This evening at you will be picked up from the Amerian Park hotel to transfer out to the suburb of Baracas where the exquisite Señor Tango auditorium is located. This is the premier Tango show in Argentina. The evening commences with a three course dinner, complemented by fine Argentine wines followed by this world-class Tango review. At the end of a spectacular evening transfer back to your hotel.
Day 12:
Time for last minute shopping, packing before a mid-afternoon transfer to Ezeiza International airport there to check-in for the return homeward bound flight.
